Poppy Sea

We got lots of rain in Southern California this winter season. LOTS.

So come warmer weather and sunshine, things that grow - they exploded. Including (and most expectantly) the wild poppies.

We made a trip to the Antelope Valley California State Poppy Preserve. Wow, an orange explosion of flora.

I know you're not suppose to lay in the field of poppies (I heard the news reports) but that's the feeling I have when I watch your video.  I want to become one with them.

It was so hard not to jump right in! They look like little Cheetos ready to be gobbled up and leave your face bright and orange.
