December 24th - Officially Hitched!
It was one of those days when all the powers of the
universe where in alignment and cooperating. A
wedding day can be a perfect target for bad timing,
irony and other forces that like to work against you.
Yet somehow, we escaped all that and got to enjoy each
moment without a hitch.
The drive to pick up Lyz - then across town to Beverly
Hills Courthouse - had little traffic. We arrived a
bit early - and the lobby was quiet except for a few
security guards and clerks. After signing some
paperwork and taking a few pictures we were led into the
ceremony room by our efficient.
The "I Do's" and a few more pictures outside, we were
done - and off to our favorite Chinese restaurant for a
leisurely early lunch. We had the place to
ourselves - a nice way to round off our special day.
Of course the Christmas weekend had just begun, so there
were more festivities in store!
